Yesterday was Mid-Autumn Festival, we went out for dinner last weekend with family. Last night, we enjoyed our evening by eating mooncake and tea.
As for mooncake, I am not a big fan of it, but BF always had to get one box every year. He always stick to the classic Hong Kong Wing Wah White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk Mooncake 榮華月餅-雙黃白蓮蓉. I tend to like the Maxims Mango Crunch Icy Mooncake 美心冰皮月餅-芒果脆脆.
You can never go wrong with Wing Wah Mooncake, perfect thickness, lotus paste was simple yet has a sweet aroma and yolk fragrantly savory.

Maxims Mango Crunch Icy Mooncake 美心冰皮月餅-芒果脆脆. I like the slight sweet and chewy skin, green bean paste was smooth, the mango jam was lacking (I wish for more), chocolate rice crispy gave that crunchiness. Overall, it was good, if it had more mango jam, it would be great!
