London Day 2 dinner. Probably the best Fish & Chips I ever ate. There are 2 section of this place, 1 is a formal sit down full service restaurant. The other 1 is an informal, walk up counter and order.

We opted for the walk up counter. We were kind of late that evening, no line, but we did see lots of cab drivers ordering in and out, good signs that local likes it.

We ordered a Cod Fillet £7.40, Regular Chips (Fries) £2.00, Calamari £4.50, Fountain Soda £1.50. No dressings, only simple salt & pepper and fresh lemon.
The fish was amazing, freshly fried, crispy, fresh, not oily and extremely moist. Portion was good for 2.
Calamari was different that the ones we usually ate in the States, but surprisingly good. It was whole pieces of squid, fried in a light breading, very good.

LONDON - DAY 2 EATING (SELFRIDGE'S THE BRASS RAIL - SALT BEEF SANDWICH 咸牛肉三文治) JAN 16, 2014
Ok, I know I wanting to try a salt beef sandwich in London. We ended up in Selfridge shopping area, so might as well go try out the famous Salt Beef Sandwich @ Selfridge's The Brass Rail.
Usually there are lots of people waiting during lunch time, but we were there around 5pm, so only couple people in front of us. You basically self order, and self served, portion was pretty good. We ordered a regular and shared.

We ordered a Regular Salt Beef Sandwich on Rye with English Mustard, and Pickles.
The Salt Beef Sandwich was very good, each slice were right thickness and not too salty, so spicy mustard was perfect compliment with the sandwich. The guy told us there was 3 choices of mustard, American - not spicy, French - medium spicy, English - spicy. Of course we picked English.
The Pickles were a little different than what we usually eat in US, its more toward the sweeter side, which we enjoyed.

LONDON - DAY 2 (WESTMINSTER ABBEY, BRITISH MUSEUM, BIG BEN) JAN 16, 2014
London Day 2 (Jan 16, 2014), we grouped all the close places together, easier for us to visit - Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, British Museum. 倫敦 Day 2 - 西敏寺 --> 大笨鐘 --> 大英博物館
Nov-Jan are considered low season in Europe, so our wait wasn't bad at all.
First was to Westminster Abbey - adults £18.00 with free audio guide, no pictures inside. A truly magnificent church, really have to see it to believe it.

LONDON - DAY 1 (LONDON, ENGLAND, UK) JAN 15, 2014
Happy Lunar New Year!
We finally came from our trip. I was back on Jan 27, but way too tired and still fighting the jet lag! Our trip consist of London, Paris, Venice, and final stop Rome. Lets start with London!
Probably my favorite city out of this whole trip :)
Flew with Delta San Francisco to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Heathrow London. Second leg was about 8.5 hours, we were served lunch and then light refreshment breakfast, the breakfast sandwich was a little too bland :P
[caption id="attachment_1103" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Atlanta to Heathrow London. Served dinner (Chicken veggies) + refreshing breakfast (Egg Muffin and Banana)[/caption]
We arrived London around 12noon (Jan 15, 2014), we took the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station, this is the closest station to our hotel.

We arrived to the hotel around 2pm and couldn't help but fell asleep :P ... by the time we got back up, it was already dawn. We manage to make it to our first stop on our agenda, Trafalgar Square. It was a little rainy, but doesn't turn down our spirit!
[caption id="attachment_1097" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Trafalgar Square - very pretty at night too![/caption]
Roaming around Piccadilly Circus - so many people there, definitely a different atmosphere.

Finally we ended up at London Chinatown and had our dinner in a random restaurant.
